Thylakoid membrane reorganization for regulation and repair of the photosynthetic
apparatus in cyanobacteria

12:15 Robert Niederman
Development and Dynamics of Bacterial Photosynthetic Membranes

The dynamic response of energy-converting membranes to an ever-changing environment is essential for the survival and performance of photosynthetic organisms. This session gives insights in membrane dynamics, ranging from the whole membrane level to individual protein complexes in higher plants including C4 plants, green algae, cyanobacteria, and purple bacteria.
